Moonflower by EDC Johnson, HOT new YA Novel!

After Josephine Woods' father dies of cancer, her mother up-roots the two of them and moves to the city. Josie hates her city life, but her teenage issues are of little consequence when they have a car accident and she wakes up in a strange land (reminiscent of Victorian Europe) alone. Lost, with her school backpack as the only connection to her world, Josie struggles to find her way home. She is found by Lucius Conrí, the son of a Marquess, who possesses royal blood and the gift to shift into a wolf’s form at will. Can the kind-hearted Lucius help her find her way while winning her love, or will she fall for Donovan Conrí his older, more serious brother and heir to the Conrí wealth?

Now you can find my book on Smashwords in ebook.  Moonflower is a young adult fiction / fantasy where elements of Pride and Prejudice meet the Twilight saga, without the vampires.  You can find a free sample HERE!

A lot has happened since my last post.  I am only weeks away from having my book published.  I'm extremely excited to say the least.  I hope you look forward to the release.  I was hoping to get it out before the end of June since I'm a teacher and summer is my only time to promote my book.  Hey, such is life.  Nothing takes the mount of time I think it should.

Check out the cover.  It looks pretty cool if I may say so myself.

Artfully Yours,

Another day of rewrites.  I'm at the halfway point in my edits and have begun working on my description for the book.  I was almost going to post it but I have yet to submit my finished manuscript to the publisher.  We don't want any copyright problems, now do we.  I have bit the bullet, however, and allowed a few friends to read the first half, in exchange for editing notes.  ;)  Hey, it's an economical way to get the work done and get some reader opinions at the same time.  Yea!

I'll keep this short, in hope that I may actually fall asleep soon.  I have reached the halfway point with my edits.  Now the ominous question is to self-publish or not to self-publish.  That is the question folks.  Does anyone have the answer?  I could end up waiting a year for representation.  This, in theory could help me get representation by building my author platform.  You tell me, but the clock is ticking.  I have an opportunity to do a book signing April 1st.  I would have to publish before then.
